do not buy any knock offs. please, support @antsylabs and all the effort they put into making these. i dont know if theyre selling them yet, but if you missed the kickstarter, please just wait for them to start selling. i can guarantee the knockoffs will not be worth the money.So I’ve seen scams about this floating around Facebook but this is the first one I’ve seen on Tumblr. I love the fidget cube and it is amazing - but the only real one that isn’t a bad reproduced knockoff or a straight up scam is from Antsy Labs. Antsy Labs is the company that originally kickstarted this project.
DON’T BELIEVE ANY OF THE OTHER ADS FLOATING AROUND THEY ARE LITERALLY USING ANTSY LABS IMAGES.
Basically you’re either going to get a really crappy version of one, IF you get one at all. There are some that are just taking people’s money and running.
When I first saw this website I checked it out and they didn’t even have a contact us section and their “return policy” looks sketchy as hell.

I asked a friend (more just a school friend) who doesn’t know I have DID if he would be scared to meet someone with DID after seeing split and he said yes. Another friend told me her dad thinks people with DID are violent like how split shows…. so can people stop acting like works of fiction don’t effect how people think. They do. In fact I have heard several times there is scientific data that they do which I will try to find sources for in the morning. (Unless someone has them and can reblog adding them on) I just couldn’t sleep and wanted to make this quick post now.
Keith Haring in 1989: “Unfinished Painting”. Haring died few months after and this is his last painting. This is supposed to be a self-portrait. Haring knew he wouldn’t have enough time to finish it. This is one of the saddest but certainly the most powerful thing I’ve ever seen.
to clarify: this is a finished self portrait. haring did know that he would be unable to continue to work; this “unfinished” painting refers to that self-consciously as a visualization of how the aids crisis and government neglect robbed him of his life and future career.
i feel like this distinction is important? there are many artists who died due to hiv/aids and left unfinished work, but haring made this specifically to comment on his impending death. i feel like stating that it’s actually unfinished takes away some of his agency as an artist/activist/pwa and the political power of the work.
